Trade Windows

We have just had 5 windows a French door and Roofline soffits and fascias fitted. The fitters Mal Jake Darren and Tom were absolutely amazing. They were polite and friendly and a real pleasure to have around. However the 5 stars are entirely for the workmanship and fitters as the admin contact that we received from Michelle was appalling. We wouldn't even give her 1 star.

She was rude arrogant and dismissive. An admin error which automatically used the previous peoples address and phone number instead of ours was used and we were made to feel to blame when she tried to contact us to say the windows were delayed due to Covid. She spoke over us and totally ignored what we were saying to her. My husband and I had both used annual leave to be there when the windows were fitted and were obviously upset.

We had spent the previous evening removing curtains and blinds and then moving furniture out of the way. Her customer service skills (or lack of them) were shocking. Its a real shame as someone like this could seriously bring your reviews down.

We had a great experience with Trade Windows; from designing and ordering our chosen style and up until installation we were very happy with the service. The ordering process is quick and efficient and there's plenty of choice to personalise the order to your taste. Our installers were very friendly and very quick, installing all of our windows and two doors in under two days! Thank you for a great experience, and an even better result!

Trade windows fitted my conservatory 10 years ago. There were problems with it leaking from about 5 years ago from the roof. They came out supposedly fixed it but it started leaking again. When they came out the last time, just before the guarantee ran out the workmen fobbed me off saying that it was supposed to do this in a storm? Awful company, don't bother with them.

Awful place! If I could give less than one star I would. Michelle, who I believe is the receptionist, has no respect or regard for customers waiting on work to be done. Constant excuses on work being delayed multiple times. There's no compensation or even an apology for the delay. If you query as to why they haven't turned up to do the work again, Michelle will speak to you as if you are nothing but an inconvenience. So pretty disgusted with the company as a whole and will certainly be taking my money elsewhere.

Really pleased with my new front door! Would highly recommend Trade Windows. The in-store team and fitters were very helpful, knowledgeable and good attention to detail.

Shambolic company, appalling customer service, borderline infringements on GDPR rules giving personal information regarding their staff as excuses, lied to by salesman, awful communication, delay after delay and still not got our windows fitted, estimated install date seven months after initial home visit. Director of company rude and threatening solicitors action rather than any form of an apology. Steer well clear.

Excellent company. Never use anybody else for my windows, doors etc. Many thanks to Danny & Jack for fitting and tidying up. Perfect job.

I can't recommend highly enough the friendly, knowledgeable service I received on Saturday. The showroom was absolutely full of samples and the staff were welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. I would like to mention Ben in particular who was absolutely fantastic with us

04/08/21Job Ref. 41784. We visited the showroom of this company three times while searching for flush sash windows. Ben Russell, the sales rep, helped us to choose Modus windows and assured us that although the old model of Modus was on the way to be discontinued, it was still available to order on our last visit (17/11/2020). We went ahead with the order that day and booked the fitting for the 19th of January 2021.

On the day of the fitting we realised that the windows delivered were not the old Modus model that we ordered, but the new one. We accepted to go ahead with the fitting in order to avoid a further 2-3 month wait. However, we are rather dissatisfied about this. The fitters felt sorry about the problem although it clearly wasn't their fault and themselves did a good job.

Since this business is a "Trusted Trader" with Derby City Council and Derbyshire County Council, I suppose we should at least receive an apology. Overall, I won't recommend this company since obviously you can't trust them. First of all, if a model is not available it should not be on the showroom. Second, the salesmen should be clearly aware of that and let the customers know. Third, as of 4th of August 2021 we still haven't received the FENSA certificate. 05/08/21.

I received a phone call from Trade Windows this afternoon with apologies about the confusion with the model of the windows and a clarification that the emission of the FENSA certificate is not under their control (FENSA appears to have big delays in releasing certificates). Traded windows provided me with FENSA Certificate number for the job in our property. I appreciate that they took action over my review.

Just had a new back door fitted by a professional friendly fitter, very pleased with the finished product. In fact everything from enquiry to finished job was excellent would recommend Trade Windows

Big thank you to Trade Windows, yes based on this experience I would recommend them. Six new windows and new back door. A special mention to Dan who worked efficiently and resiliently and did a really good job. Thank you also to Mark who did the initial quote and to the office staff who were always polite and informative.

Brilliant family run company, they came highly recommended to us, all new windows in our home, including a patio door. First class job, lovely fitters who were very clean and tidy. We have already started to recommend.

9 1/2 years after our windows were fitted one of the panels needed replacing, this was done quickly and with no quibble under the guarantee. The staff were friendly and very efficient. Overall outstanding customer service, well done Trade Windows.

We are very impressed with the job they have done. 4 windows (one a large bay) and a door fitted in just two days and at a very good price. We would definitely use Trade Windows in the future.
