The product itself is great, but the installation less so. Fitters installed our door very obviously off centre, so had to waste time the next day redoing it. They also did a pretty mediocre job of the interior finish, we ended up telling them we'd finish the interior caulking ourselves. All of the above would be forgivable, as it's all been sorted out / we can sort it ourselves.
But what really grates is that after over a month, we're still stuck with scaffolding over the front of our property. LDG charged us an extra 500 for putting it up (around twice the going rate IMO), and now couldn't be less interested in getting it removed. We can't mow our front lawn, we'll have to reseed the lawn when it's gone, we can't see properly out of our windows, and it's an eyesore. :( UPDATE - Less than 2 hours later, LDG have phoned to apologise, and have offered daily updates as their own wrangles with scaffolding company continue. Steps in the right direction, fingers crossed! UPDATE #2 - 9:15am day after posting the above review, the scaffolding is gone!

Lancashire Double Glazing we're absolutely amazing and helpful from the first visit to the showroom till the very last fitting. We would recommend to anyone who is thinking of buying windows and doors. They have a huge range to choose from and is excellent quality. I had a front door fitted and the price was good however the seal around the top window started falling out the very next week and also I got extra keys cut for the lock as it was a multi occupancy house and gave them the lock to fit in the door. They then went ahead and fitted a totally different lock and expected me to get a whole new set of keys cut at my own expense.
I refused to do this as it was their error and it was one week of negotiations until they went back and rectify their fault. Soon after that the front door lock started playing up and again it took multiple visits and accusations of me making it up before the problem was solved. I'm not saying they're a terrible company And perhaps I was just unlucky but my experience wasn't exactly good.

What an actual shambles our experience has been with this company! Deposit paid in February 2021 to have a roof lantern fitted in July 2021 (long waiting list due to Covid). Surveyor attended to assess the flat roof in situ and stated that this would not need replacing. 5 July - no workmen showed to start work, despite this being confirmed 3 days before.
Telephone call to LDG confirmed that they would now be attending 12 July (so a day off work wasted) On 12 July two professional and friendly workmen arrived to start the job, they took one look at the roof and stated that it was in a terrible state and would not withstand work to fit a roof lantern. This was in contrast to what the surveyor had confirmed. LDG then quoted an extra 4k to fix the roof before they could fit the roof lantern.
We requested to cancel as we had been misled but were told we would lose our deposit as the lantern was made to order. The company eventually dropped their price by 2k and work started in September 2021. The workmen cut into the roof in preparation for adding the lantern and left it covered with a piece of the roofing they had removed. That night it rained heavily and we were woken by rain pouring in through the ceiling into the kitchen and down live lighting wires.
I contacted LDG to inform them and was told they wouldn't be attending if was raining.quite honestly unbelievable. After some discussion, the workmen turned up to put this right. After several weeks the job was completed apart from lights being fitted by the electrician. LDG rang to ask when we would pay the balance even though the job was not completed!
Fast forward to November 2021 and water began leaking in during bad weather. This happened again a few weeks later. LDG were contacted to attend to fix this. This took an email and three phone calls before we were given a date for workmen to attend to perform a water test. Workmen arrived on 1 Feb 2022, appear to have slapped some sort of filler around the roof lantern and then wiped their hands on the roof - looks like Mr Blobby's workmanship! 2 days later rain was coming through the ceiling again.
This has happened every day since. A call to LDG to arrange yet another visit, they called my partner whilst he was at work unable to answer meaning we still don't have a date confirmed and rain is still leaking in. My advice is DON'T ENTERTAIN THIS COMPANY unless you have the time and patience to be messed around, ignored and fobbed off. UPDATE 3 May 2022 - the manager attended our property in February 2022 to reassess the work (and begged us to take down this honest review).

After a phonecall to the company he was told they would be arriving in the afternoon. At 2.30 in the afternoon the manager arrived AGAIN to look at the roof with no intention of doing any work or reassessment as nothing had changed.
We have now been given another date, on which we don't anticipate any action being taken. I reiterate - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - waste of time, happy to take your money but that's about it. They lie, mislead, keep you hanging on, and fob you off. I could go on. UPDATE: May 2022 - the company eventually attended to fix the roof, couldn't fault the workmen in any way. The roof lantern was repositioned in the hope that this will prevent water build up and leaking. It's been two weeks and we are hoping that it is fixed.

Excellent Service from Lancashire Double Glazing. I had my house double glazed with this company. I had a great experience so engaged with them once more for a whole new shop front fitting. Not only could they accommodate my tight time frame but they pitched up on time as promised and completed within a day. Highly recommended.

Shocking customer service and attitude toward the customer. It took 4 weeks to fully install 5 windows. It took 9 visits over the 4 weeks which meant 9 days off work. Asked a manager to compensate in some way, guess what? Not a word. Don't expect them to be proactive and honest. You will have to manage the project as they have not a clue, and don't care. Very disappointing all round.

With thanks to Jason & Jim, then a finish off visit from David all ambassadors for LDG replacing our 2 x patio doors to include an opening window in each along with replacing our en-suite window to be more security conscious. Had my windows fitted it was a great experience the windows are of excellent quality we had sash top opening windows and had specialist designs done on the doors and had the theme carried over to a massive victorian style window at the side. I couldn't believe the quality for the price we are very happy.

Many issues with the installation and terrible after service. After many callouts i am now left with door vents with 2 - 3mm gaps around. Even when shut the draft coming in is unreal. Comms issues between installers and management. Was asked if they could use silicone around the vents to stop the draft but i said no to a bodge job. Installers were able to fix the doors misaligned where as management said this was not possible. the vents will just not stick to the door at all and they have had clips etc all aligned and entire vent has been removed several times.
I received an email to say i need to live with the gaps around the vents and nothing could be done. If the job was done correctly and no issues they would have a 5 star but after so many calls the after service provided by this company is by far the worse i have ever experienced.

Had patio doors fitted today by Ben. An excellent job was completed with the minimum of fuss. He was friendly, efficient and tided up, as he worked. He took out a large solid wood frame with double doors n replaced it with a new pvc equivalent. Perfect fit ( credit to architect n construction team) and Bens finish with trim and silicon filler ensured a professional finish.
Would recommend, and question some of the poor reviews shown recently. It must be " who you get on the day". But my appreciation to Ben who is a credit to the company. Thank you

Delighted with the service of Lancashire Double Glazing, fantastic hard working team who are all incredibly knowledgeable. I wanted to especially thank Harry who is in the installation department, I has to cancel the first installation he gave me due to a delay at my end. He then bent over backwards to get me scheduled back in on the day I wanted and it's helped me massively.
I certainly recommend this team and there work is superb, my doors go in on the 5th of October and I will certainly update my post with pictures. I had been recommended to them by several of my friends who's doors have always been brilliant.thanks again

Wouldn't bother. Cowboys. Took weeks to fit windows after saying just a few days. Left with gaps while they made more window frames. Had to clean up after the fitters. Frames measured twice in a week and still came wrong size and had to bit a week for another to be made. Cost of time off work. Damaged and split when fitting inside wooden frames. Useless customer service. They just stop answering calls. Just in somewhere else. Seriously.

Well worth the wait! The estimated installation was early June but was delayed by a couple of weeks. I am over the moon with the finished article and my front door looks much better in real life than in the brochure! I am so glad I went for the lighter shade of grey for the windows as I think they also look great! The fitters took their time but I can see why as the finish is excellent.
