Previously had windows and front door fitted by Ultimate windows and couldn't have been happier with the result. A few years later we had a back door fitted by them! The threshold design had changed and we are still struggling to get them to resolve the issue of water ingress and the mould and damp it has caused. We used to recommend them but wouldn't anymore.

We got windows and doors fitted 2 years ago and since having them done we have had draughts in the front room and bedroom (both large bay windows), the kitchen has been freezing and if I am stood in the passage when traffic drives past it sounds like the front door is open. When they were getting fitted, the side window didn't fit and had to be trimmed down to fit and the interior plaster was damaged with forcing the frame in to place and repaired by using silicon and pushing the plaster lump back in place to stick it back up again, then the unit should have been toughened glass but wasn't and had to wait till they got a replacement for it, the second day a 2nd van pulled up to get it finished and rushed the job so much 1 window had to be removed days later and put straight and it was like a huge rush job to get it finished in 2 days I have had them out twice over the last 2 winters. the first time 1 door hinge was changed and areas were sealed with silicon that were missed when being fitted (under the front and back door sills and under some window sills) then this year I called them out again and all 3 hinges were replaced on the front door again and further checks around the windows but no draughts found.
This week I decided to lay new flooring in the passage and kitchen and also tile the kitchen walls and when i removed the trims around the door I had 3/4 inch gaps around the frame unsealed and could put a screwdriver through and touch the outside silicon trim, also the door didn't meet the floor and was left with a 1 inch wide and 1.5 inch deep gap when the wind was coming in.
I have sealed these with expanding foam and re trimmed it all up, checked the front door and the same was found there as well. going to check all interior trims this month on the windows to see what else has been missed. I wouldn't recommend them at all, we have constant draughts for 2 years so god knows how much we have lost in heating costs

Love my Windows and the two lads who fitted them Tim and Paul were two great lads who didn't stop, they worked their socks off installing them and tidied all up and nothing was too much trouble at all, total asset to the company and I will be asking for them to do my conservatory when it's all booked in with ultimate for January, windows look fab and I'm so pleased they have totally transformed the house.

I've had my kitchen window fitted from UW Before and it's perfectly fine and a door also. This time I asked for a bedroom window the only thing missing was I asked for it a certain way to open (to slide along as well as open wide) and the guy said it was fine and drew it up but when it came to fit I noticed it didn't do both. I was a little disappointed as I wanted and paid for this but I'm not that bothered if I go with them again I'd probably hold it against them if they don't do it next time. If I go with them again. However besides that they were very professional and completed within one morning as requested.

Ultimate Windows, and specifically Rhodri Williams were absolutely fantastic. I had difficulties with an incorrect installation of a bi-fold door and window from a 3rd party not associated with Ultimate windows. Regardless, Ultimate Windows stepped in and resolved everything and were absolutely fantastic. I cannot praise them enough.

They are not even worthy of one star. Terrible company with poor workmanship.very poor response to the continueous complaints we have made about the front door they installed in 2013 that wasn't fit correctly. Here we are 5 years later and still no response or resolution to the constant phone calls we have made and complaint letters sent to get the door sorted.
They just don't seem bothered at all, receptionist Jamie in Middlesbrough office passing messages onto the so called director Kevin Butler who just ignores them as he never calls back. As per previous review looks like next stage is the ombudsmen which we should have done a long time ago but we gave them the benefit of the doubt and listened to their empty promises they would get it fixed but never did.

I used ultimate windows in 2003 to fit a bespoke conservatory in my old home. They helped with all permitted development planning and the work was done to an exceptional standard they even helped locate special strips to go inside the conservatory roof to save on heat loss and to prevent over heating in summer. I have now moved to a new home and wanted an orangery with pelmet and down lights.
I called many companies but once again used ultimate as they were very professional when we told them our requirements. They even helped save money on getting an architect to drawn the plans as we required planning permission and designed the project to make sure all regulations were adhered too. From start to finish the whole experience and upheaval was done with great care understanding and as little mess as possible.
They kept us informed at all aspects of the build. The builders worked exceptionally hard and the weather conditions were horrendous one week but they carried on digging the foundations. Their brick work is neat and the concrete floor was so level my tiler was nearly doing back flips at how much work this would save him. They even refitted the patio stones around the orangery so it looked nice.
The frame and window fitting team were incredible, other than a quick cup of tea worked straight through their lunches every day in order to get the project done on time as promised. Ultimates plaster Phil could not of done a better job the walls are perfect even though the design has so many small edges which enhances the build. He was very tidy and such a lovely man. Craig the electrician was marvellous. Explaining exactly what he would be doing and why it needed to be done to comply to regulations.
He even fitted a wifi light switch so we can turn the lights on & off on our phones. Nothing was too much trouble. He advised us when choosing extras we intended to get like underfloor heating and told us what we would need to get the life time warranty and even suggested a qualified tiler whom has experience in fitting these floorings and tiles. I have to say the down lights, sockets, look fabulous. Sorry if I missed any one. We could not be happier with our orangery and with all the staff at ultimate windows. Thank you so much for making our dream a reality

We employed ultimate windows on promises of good products, and workmanship, this was the biggest load of bull i have ever witnessed in 70 years, a man turned up in this heap of rubbish white van, this was the start of our night mare, the fitter was a nightmare, standing on my inner sills to remove the old windows, he scratched them with his trainers, as they were not being replaced, the sealant was like a dinosaurs back and an inch thick with lumps all the way down, one window was too narrow so it was filled with the sealant to cover the badly measured window frame, one of the directors of the company was the one who measured them, his name was/is Kevin Butler, i have tell that the other director of the company is called Phil cooper who i have never met or spoken to, and that is after several requests to do so, other windows were twisted and did not fully pull into the window frame, the handle on all the windows were catching the frame on closing, one window was scratched in two places, the fitter gowged a hole in my new plaster work, then filled it with sealant, do i need to say any more about this shocking company other than they do not respond when you need to speak to them, but i have spoken to the appropriate bodies, after some time they did eventually come to TRY to repair the faults, re-drilling holes to lift the handles up to allow the window to open properly, they are still the same as they have dropped again, they also changed the small bedroom window sash that was twisted, the new one was worse! and the fitter said they could not fix it, since writing this review, i have had several other window companies here to assess there work, the twisted window can be done by moving it in or out to make it straight and allow the sash to come into the frame plumb, for anyone looking at this who has had bother with this company they have several addresses Murdoch road. m/bro, maven house, m/bro and 55 bishopton lane Stockton we are in the process of gathering evidence to have these taken to court, there are four pictures with the bad work showing in this review there are many more, watch this space.
