Workmanship good did job efficiently. After sales atrocious. We had a whole extension plus doors and have had a issue with one of the panels in glass door. Viewed it literally a week after fitting February 2021 WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR THE REPLACEMENT 14 months later. Cancelled on us twice. I think I must of phoned sales about 6 times and emails I've lost count. Would not recommend this company. Like a lot nowadays happy to take your money then run.

James has been outstanding from the information at the start of the process to the installation. We purchased bi-folds, a roof lantern, and 2 external doors and the price and quality is outstanding. Having done my due diligence before proceeding, I can honestly say XL Windows offered premium quality at the most affordable price point. All of the team have been superb from James managing the order, Gary surveying the property and keeping in touch with the builders and the installation team were efficient, polite and on schedule. Cannot speak highly enough of this company.

Shoddy installation. None existent aftersale care. Not interested in resolving the issues even though still under warranty. When I visited showroom or phoned them, was told James would call me back but never did. No replies to emails.

Absolute cowboys. Shoddy installation. Once they take your money they show no interest in their aftersales care. They don't bother replying to emails. If you phone them or visit their showroom, they just claim the person to deal with isn't there but they will call you back. They never do. I've reported them to Trading Standards and threatened them with court action and still no response.

Despite a long wait to get my new back door, I'm very pleased with the result. The fitters did an excellent job. They were thorough, and cleaned up after they'd finished the job.

Can't recommend James and XL windows enough first class service from start to finish. We had Aaron and Kenny as our fitters, these 2 expert craftsman's made the whole experience a pleasure and nothing was 2 much trouble for them. The fitters turned 7-30am to start every morning which they checked with us to see if ok. We were having complete window change with bi folding doors and cladding replacement over 3 dormas 1 porch and 1 bay window, hardy plank was the product being used to replace the old wood.

Very clean and tidy work cleaning after days work. Aaron the main fitter is the best craftsman I've had working on any of my houses over the years and treats like he says our house like his own his attention to detail is second to none. Kenny his assistant always on the go preparing and cleaning all the time. Aaron cut his leg badly on day 2 and needed hospital treatment and stitches but was back working later that day which we couldn't believe.

Only one slight problem which wasn't there fault new front door came scratched from Manufactures which was replaced in a few days. The price for the total job was very reasonable as well but top products used and quality window and the bifold door is amazing. We thanks James and XL Windows for a first class job and Aaron and Kenny who I'd want back anytime.

When anglian windows failed to show even for a quote xl windows came straight away. Excellent service, excellent door and the fitter josh my mother says was lovely and extremely professional and tidy. Will use again if needed in future. Thanks

Had 4 attempts to get our windows right. Still angered when I think they tried to sell us antiquated non reflective glass(not even legal to fit nowadays)for full price. Apparently they didn't notice their "Suppliers"had sent them so not "Their fault"!? They found a defect in glass after fitting on two windows. Returned week later-the glass they'd brought also had a defect, again which they only noticed on getting it in the house.

To add to this disaster-one window whistled during windy weather keeping us awake at night. Had to remove completely and refit with even more gungey filler stuff. All in all was pleased to see the back of this company.

Fitters do a good job admin team poor. Turned up to fit door without letting us know. No comunication when cladding was going to be done so cancelled order. Sham as I've used them on many occasions they were 5 star.

I cannot even beginto tell you how terrible this company is. They have a smarmy sales man who will, offer you the world but most certainly cannot deliver. We ordered 12,0000 of windows and doors that were supposed to be fitted by the first week in June. They were In fact finished now the last week in august. The work ment ship was shoddy, the communication was terrible and when I dared to complain about such bad service I was treated extremely badly. My advice do not touch this company ever!

Chris from XL came round, measured up and gave an incredibly reasonable quote for replacing my bay windows. The service and reassurance throughout was great and I didn't even have to pay anything until the job was done and I was happy with the result. Highly recommend.
