Tracy, Ken and the Hitchin team gave nothing but 100% attention to detail from start to finish. A professional and well explained service, and top quality fixtures and fittings at a fair price. They kept to their timescales, turned up when they said they would, worked calmly, diligently and cleanly and with nothing but respect for the home and home owner.
They are genuine, helpful, friendly and go the extra mile. Their knowledge and experience meant that that wonky walls and sloping sills were not the problems that they could have been! As I customer, I felt valued, important and respected. They are highly recommended.

Very pleased how easy it was from start to finish to get a single replacement window. No call centre or sales-ey stuff, Tracy knew what I needed over the phone, got it measured and installed without any hassle. The two guys who did the measuring and installation were super nice as well. Definitely recommend this company.

Both Tracy and Ken were so professional and have a natural way friendly way that you are happy to support their business and you get a great service! We had a complete window change that had gone cloudy and a cat flap fitted into glass - no mess, no hassle. FANTASTIC!

Great job of refurbishing my mothers conservatory, from crumbling, leaky mess to smart usable living space. Helpful from start to finish, despite having to deal with a crooked wall and delivery problems the guys were professional and courteous throughout, working late to ensure the job was finished on time. Wouldn't hesitate to use again or recommend.

My parents have had an old wooden back door for as long as they have lived in the house, 40 years! Chiltern doors came and replaced the door and they couldn't be happier, such good customer service from the initial call for a quote through to the installation. Honest options given to them and no feeling of poor advice or workmanship, then finish. is profession and smart.
I saw it for the first time today and it's transformed the space immeasurably, warmer, safer and brighter, so impressed. Would recommend to anyone wanting doors replaced, my parents are already talking about a new front door and patio doors!

Had our new composite front door installed today, over the moon with the workmanship. Bit of a delay with the door being made, lockdown backlog, but worth the wait, Tracey communicated all the time giving updates, passionate owner. Chiltern previously installed a composite back door and loved it. Keep up.the good work Tracey & Ken.

STOP and READ THIS. We only needed one small window replaced and Tracy made us feel like just as an important client as a multi-million pound mansion house owner. Not only are they great to deal with, the installation was efficient and very tidy. I rarely write reviews but I have to for Chiltern as I'm so impressed by their high level of customer service - it's simple - use them and you will not regret it. We will in the near future be getting some other windows replaced and we will be using Chiltern. Thank you Tracy and the team!

From start to finish we could not fault Tracy and her team at Chiltern Home Improvements. They quoted us the best price for a new back door, had the guys come and measure in advance and the fitting was done within a couple of hours, all to an excellent standard and even cleaning up after themselves. You will not be beaten on price or service in Hertfordshire.

Ours was a big job, with a lot of windows, french doors and Front door with some very tricky bay windows! All fitted to an excellent standard. I've just had my new composite door installed by the team at Chiltern home improvements and im blown away by the quality at such a competitive price. More impressive than the door itself is the service levels ive experienced throughout the whole journey. Tracy has been fantastic and kept me up to date with regards to the timescales for delivery and installation. Ken & Matt where true perfectionist and a joy to have around.

The Chiltern team never fail to amaze with their customer service! 18 months after having bi-fold doors fitted they were round within hours to take a look and sort the issue there and then. They prices are always very competitive with other local suppliers, and their customer service is spot on. I can't recommend them highly enough! It really gives peace of mind that you'er in good hands with Chiltern and any niggles are never an issue.

Brilliant service from start with Tracy giving great advice and recommendations to Ken and Matt fitting our wonderfull new windows and doors. Chiltern Home Improvements are like a breath of fresh air in the Industry (& I was in it many years ago). Tracy & Ken are probably the most reliable & honest people I have ever known & not only do they offer a superb range of products at competitive prices, but they look after their customers - as they did with me today, having experienced an attempted break-in - damaged locking system but entry just not possible with such a secure door :-) .... Thoroughly recommended - You don't need 3 quotes, you just need Chiltern

From the moment I put a request out asking for recommendations for a door fitting company I was inundated with people all suggesting Chiltern Home Improvements and now that they have fitted our new door and side panel I can see why everyone spoke so highly of them. Initially with Tracy who was always there to answer any questions I had prior to placing the order to today when the door was fitted by Ken and Steve, they worked well as a team, left the area clean and tidy and still made time to chat to my extremely nosey daughter all while they were busy doing the install.
