We searched for types of Conservatory replacement roofs, decided on SupaLite, then looked for suppliers in South Wales. The consultation with A-Rated was very good; not over selling and keeping to the technical aspects and performance of the product. Joe was very enthusiastic without being a pushy, ready with information and confirmed everything on email.
Very happy with the finish, and feel that we had value for money. The conservatory has transformed this area of the house, in terms of always warm and useable. Everyone who has seen the conservatory has been wowed, and I would strongly recommended A-Rated.

A-Rated did an excellent job of our conservatory extension in Pontyclun, with which we are really satisfied. Great team and skills and top quality product and finish - the groundwork especially was a tour de force! They helped us choose the right options, get best value for money and to solve all the problems that came up on our 1930s former council property.
The only downside was the time the project took - but this was understandable during 2021, such an unpredictable year for everyone. Diolch Umberto, Bruce & co., and Nadolig Llawen to you all!

We're really happy with the quality of work that went into our new extension. A-Rated Home Improvements were able to provide us with a room which is now our main family area which is exactly what we needed being a family with two small children living in a townhouse. We now have a better social space on the ground floor of our home. All workmen were clean & professional as well as the sales team & were always polite. Would highly recommend A-Rated Home Improvements.

Called them because I would like to change a door and windows, Brandon told me that they can come out the next day to see and estimate it but told me He will call me back later, waited no call happened, called them again they told me they cant come out, they said they will give me a quote, did not happen, called them yet again they said they will send an email with the estimation yet again did not happen. Looks like they don't want to have customer make an order from them, disappointing customer service without providing anything.

Everyone involved with the process, from the office team to the tradesmen on site at various stages of the build, were absolutely fab. Would highly recommend to anyone. Really excellent local company who have just built us an extension. Extremely high quality finish and all the tradespeople that did the job were about quality rather than rushing the job. They have been very helpful after sales too, extremely professional and responsive. They were not the cheapest firm but cut no corners either so I thought were very good value overall. The finished extension is really fantastic and I would not hesitate to use them again.

An excellent company to deal with. They are not kidding when they say they can remove and replace the roof within days. Watching the transformation happen so quickly was very impressive. It makes a massive difference to the temperature of the room, cooler in summer and warmer in winter. For us this means our old conservatory feels like and extension and gets used all year round.
I recommend having skylights too, you will hardly notice a solid roof replacement as long as you have 1 or 2 letting in light. Also make sure to have fitted blinds to reduce light in the summer months. For my final point, we had a few snags that needed tweaking some weeks later. Once I'd phoned the office these were dealt with swiftly and am pleased with the results.

A rated home improvements, great service, great workmanship, super product! They fitted our new insulated conservatory roof in under 5 days, nothing was too much trouble for the guys, they arrived promptly every day and got the work done to a very high standard of finish. All rubbish was removed daily and they left us with a beautiful finished product - at a very competitive price!

A Rated Home Improvements built my conservatory about a year ago. All was okay until recently when I discovered that there is water leaking through the frame when it rains. The water is running down the glass and getting under my skirting and floors. There is also a wet patch in one of the corners on the ceiling. I have emailed and called A Rated Home Improvements on multiple occasions over the past 3 weeks and every time I am told that someone will call me back to arrange an appointment but no one ever calls.
There has been no mention of Covid or any other reason why they wouldn't get back to me and they are currently building my neighbours conservatory so I know they are visiting properties regardless of Covid. It's also worth mentioning that I also had problems initially with my Door installation, similar to mcdowallcm's experience below.

We had an extension last year and I have to say its the best thing we ever did. Andrew dealt with everything early on giving us help and advice as we weren't sure what we wanted. Then came all the tradesmen to do the work, all nice chaps who you felt you could trust. We had 1 small issue which was down to the weather however this was rectified immediately with no fuss and no damage was done to the extension.
We spend all our time in the extension and the comments we have had are unbelievable and makes us very proud of what has been done. At the same time we had a door fitted into our garage again no fuss but has made a massive difference. The value of our house has increased dramatically and if anyone reads this and needs or wants an extension then ARated will do a superb job.

Windows fitted yesterday and today at short notice due to another company leaving us down amazing customer service by Richard was fab and tony and paul who fitted lovely gentlemen and did a cracking job absolutely pleased with all 12 windows and doors will be recommending you guys to anyone who need windows done absolutely chuffed to bits

I have had my conservatory roof and window installation for a year now so feel able to give a long term view. Information and advice pre order was very good. Technical detail much better than the competition. Good value for money (not the cheapest!) Installation on time and to a high standard. Minor problems quickly dealt with. Weatherproofed within 1 day.
We now have a extra room with garden view, usable all year round. Energy consumption is greatly improved and temperatures are liveable in at all times. A real value for money job with great service and installation

Had windows, bi-fold door and lantern for the orangery supplied and fitted. Excellent price, great communication all the way from ordering, delivery and installation.
