Win-Dor

We have been satisfied customers of Windor for over 10 years. We initially had a conservatory built by them and more recently in our new house, a new composite front door, French doors and windows. Each time we have received an excellent service from the start. Andrew in the showroom is excellent, knowledgable on products and gives you a proper quote for the work from the start, none of the games adopted by other companies. Ian the surveyor again knows his stuff, and the fitters take pride in their work, are efficient and tidy.

The measure of a good company is their after sales service, and where there have been minor issues, these have been sorted quickly. My composite door needed a slight adjustment within a couple of days of fitting and a fitter arrived later the same day to sort - amazing service! I highly recommend and wouldn't go anywhere else.

We are really pleased with the quality of the windows and the expertise of the fitter who has carried out an excellent job. There was negligible damage given the amount of wooden windows we replaced. It did take three visits to complete the work which is the only reason I have not given 5 stars. This was due to supply issues generally that currently hamper imports into the UK from Europe.

I could understand though if some parts were missing first time round but it was a bit of a nuisance when it became apparent during the second visit that there were still bits missing. I would go back to this firm again though and would recommend the company to others.

Having moved house their was only one firm Windor to contact to build a new conservatory and replace all the existing windows. Our last house they did a superb job same again this time. Windor are well priced, their sales team are not typical double glaze salesmen. They offer solutions and a single price ( typically cheaper then those big brand) there fitters are clean, tidy and very friendly with a tremendous work ethic. Any queries are efficiently dealt with by the office and support team. 110% recommend WIndor if you want proper job done that will last.

We have employed Win Dor now on two separate occasions and both times the service has been fast and efficient. The fitters were professional, polite and very tidy. would thoroughly recommend.

Please never use this company, we have so many issues with our door and service is disgusting. Door wasn't fitted proper, you can see outdoor. Handle keeps coming off. We called company several times for the last 8 months and nobody is coming to fix the door. Appointment on 28May was cancelled and nobody had a decency to tell us. My husband just called them and lady was really not helpful, she said we need to wait another week just to get an appointment. Shocking. They just don't care at all. I fell really let down and upset and we paid lots of money for our door, it was not cheap rubbish.

Do not let these jokers mess up your home. Absolutely appalling workmanship and work ethic. All they are concerned about is doing the job as fast as possible so they can knock off early. Numerous problems: The lead that was supposed to be installed to make the roof watertight went 'missing' and was not installed (maybe got sold instead?). Vast amounts of silicone sealant was used to fill in a large gap between wall and conservatory.

When asked numerous times not to leave the job like that they still did. The foreman came out to check and said - as long as the finish is ok that's all that matters in the building trade. NO IT ISNT. Installed broken components. Took more visits to fix them. Installed downpipe in wrong location. Lied about discussing it with me. When I said no one spoke to me they claimed they couldn't do it because there were electricity cables I the way.

Again that was incorrect. Messed up the roof of my house on multiple occasions. Again multiple visits to 'fix'. The whole thing took nearly a year to finish. These guys are terrible to say the least. Save yourself the headaches and buy elsewhere.

Can I just say a big thank you to you guys. When I walked into your showroom I knew I was in the right place. I told you what I wanted and my price limit and boom you hit the nail on the head. There was no pushing for extras or "go bigger". Within 5 mins of being there a simple diagram was drawn up for me to see if what I wanted. The deposit was paid there and then and that afternoon plans were e mailed to me for me to see.

Not long after a surveyor popped around for the final detailing of measurements etc. We had an old style Perspex summer house where we wanted the new conservatory to go. Not a problem they said we will remove and dispose of it all in the price quoted. The guys who removed the summer house and put the base down were brilliant. They were methodical with their work and always kept the area clean and tidy.

Communication was always good and when a date was decided for the build the team turned up on time and early. With in two days the conservatory was built. Wow what a difference. Again everything was left spotless. Once again many thanks not just to the outdoor workers but the staff at the showroom for such exceptional service.

We had quotes for our conservatory from lots of different companies in Milton Keynes and windor gave the best price and most detailed quote. Andrew was happy to keep adjusting our quote and plans as we kept changing what we wanted so that it suited our vision. The work was completed quickly with no problems and the after care was excellent with a couple of glass panes with tiny defects replaced without any fuss. It is easily the most used room in our house with the only regret being that we didn't get this done sooner! Nigel

We have been a customer for years. Windor have always done a fantastic job for us. They changed all windows and doors at our last 2 properties, and built a conservatory on each. A compact conservatory and more recently a large open plan Orangery. Both with glass roofs, they improved our home significantly. Great value for money, product quality and customer service. Would happily recommend them to anyone.

We have used Win-Dor for all our home improvements over the years, their products are in our option one of the best. The Sales team are always helpful and answer any questions and do not put any pressure on you to purchase, unlike other firms. Andrew the Sales Manager is always ready to help with designs ideas and what is achievable. The fitting teams and builders are courteous and work in a methodical way, ensuring the site is kept clean and tidy. We have no problem in recommending them to anyone.

After looking around the market for all new windows and doors, we found win-dor offered exactly the products we wanted at a very competitive price, the sales man was very helpful in finding information out for us and coming back to us quickly. The Install was easy with minimal fuss and disruption, we had a slight delay on part of the install due to a member of the team being off ill, this was sorted within a day.

The only time we had to call customer service was when a lock failed on the front door so we couldn’t unlock from the outside. This was quickly fixed and switched out by the warranty works team. Would Happily recommend Win-dor to anybody looking for replacement windows and doors.

The whole installation of our conservatory was handled professionally from the order to the final product. The order and any questions we had in the beginning were all answered reassuringly. The men who did the base for the conservatory were punctual and worked very hard all week. The rest of the installation followed for the majority smoothly. We encountered one problem during the final building of the top, but it was quickly corrected only causing a weeks delay.

All the men working at our property were courteous and helpful including the follow on jobs after it was built like the electrics, floor tiles etc. The ladies in the office were very helpful when I needed any assistance and everyone was flexible with dates to fit in with us. I did spend quite a bit of time at the property whilst the conservatory was being built, which did assist if there were any questions during the build.

I had previously had windows and doors installed by Astraseal and my Parents had done the same, so we were familiar with the company as had previously done our homework and read reviews.

We were impressed by the way you discussed the available options and listened to our requirements. We are delighted with the instalments and the professional manner in which the work was completed. All the components fitted beautifully and during the installation the site was kept clean and tidy we shall have no hesitation in recommending Win-dor to any of our friends and acquaintances.

Just wanted to say thanks for the selection of trades people that came to do our conservatory. Each and every one was professional and courteous throughout.
