Many home owners with traditional sliding sash windows are tempted to have UPVC replacements fitted simply because they are either unaware of the extensive renovative options available to them, or believe this process to be too expensive to consider as a viable alternative to double glazing.

We had some new hardwood double glazed sash windows made and fitted by Louis to replace our old draughty rotting sashes. Louis was very professional from initial quote to the day of fitting. Louis and Adam were prompt on the day and not only did an amazing job fitting the new sashes but also cleaned up really well. The windows are an absolute joy! No more windows dripping in condensation and much quieter and warmer. Just need to save up to get the rest of the house done! Highly recommended.

Meridian Box Sash Windows is by far the most unprofessional and unreliable company I have ever dealt with. Three times over a 10 week period, I spoke to them regarding a quotation for window refurbishment and I was let down every time. They never once showed up and never replied to my emails or text messages. A complete waste of my time. I wouldn't recommend this company to anybody

About two years ago, Meridian Sash replaced our old single pane windows with double glazed sash versions (filled with argon gas and with draft proofing). The new units were created to fit the old frames, and to reflect the original design of the house. They look fantastic, and perform extremely well. We've had only positive feedback from visitors and neighbours alike. And, the house now performs much better in terms of energy costs for heating.

Louis and Adam did an incredible job in replacing our 3 plastic windows with beautiful double glazed wooden ones. They also replaced a huge bay window at the front of our house. The workmanship is so good you'd think they were the original Victorian ones restored and they look fantastic. They always turned up on time, always friendly and polite, cleaned up before they went for the day and completed the job in the time specified.
Which was very quickly! They made good any damage to plaster etc and wouldn't leave til they were completely happy with the job themselves. Price was very reasonable too! Really pleased we chose Meridian Box Sash Windows and I would highly recommend them.

We had Louis and the team round to replace are old sash windows in existing frame with new double glazed sashes. We had a look at a couple of other companies but they didnt meet the standards that Louis windows does. They have done an exceptional job at making the new windows to look exactly like the old. Highly recommended very clean and tidy and very pleasant people.

Louis and Steve did a brilliant job of renovating my sash windows. They had to replace all the panes of glass in each window and once painted, they look like brand new sash windows again. The windows were rattling and I couldn't open them properly, but this has now been resolved and they all open and close beautifully and no more rattling! I would not hesitate to recommend Louis and his team - great job guys!

Louis and his team did a fantastic job replacing our old sash window for a new box sash. Louis was quick to come back with a good price and Jason and Ryan did a first class job fitting the new timber frame sash window in. It looks perfect and we are well pleased with our lovely new window. All the charm of an original but with a slim double glazed unit within the timber frame. The draft proofing too seems to have warmed up the room a lot already. We recommend them 100% excellent work.

Great communication, responsive, efficient, courteous, professional, and a great job I have no hesitation in recommending Meridian Box Sash Windows. They have recently made, replaced and draught-proofed my sash windows in my Victorian house for a great price. The team is professional and worked quickly and tidily and did a fantastic job. Meridian have just been in to draft proof 6 sash windows at our flat and we are absolutely delighted with the results. Whereas the windows had been rattling in the wind, they are now held firmly in place by brushes and the place is much warmer. The 3 man team including the MD Louis Brett were polite, hard working, skilled and were very thorough cleaning up, Spotless!
Our windows are old and a great deal of adjusting was done to get them right. We left it to Louis to select the window furniture and were very pleased to see he used good quality, heavy solid brass lifters and locks. We would have no hesitation in using Meridian again and recommend them very highly.
