The vast majority of cylinder locks fitted to doors here in the UK would fail a snap lock forced entry attack. Police forces around the country have noted a sharp rise in burglaries being carried out using this method and have linked forces with the lock industry to design a cylinder that resists forced entry by snapping.

Whether your frames are made of aluminium, uPVC or timber or are looking worn and tired, we can supply and install new double glazed units, produced to the highest quality using the best in modern materials.
The doors to your property provide access and security so it's vital to ensure they are well maintained which will provide you with peace of mind. Modern uPVC doors are fitted with multipoint locks which provide a high level of security, but when these locks fail it can cause major problems especially if the door is in the closed position and cannot be opened.
The double glazed unit is separate from the frame and can be removed and replaced with a new one without the need to remove the whole window. The cause of this problem could be either a broken drive bar within the handle itself or a broken gearbox on the locking espagnolette. You can determine which by removing the two screws in the handle and inspecting the handle and gearbox. They turned up on time and did a job that was unusual, difficult and required immense patience (re-colouring white uPVC window frames). I was seriously impressed with the degree of care they took in the execution of the works and the end result is stunning, exceeding all my expectations. It is as though we have had brand new windows installed across the entire rear of our (large) house.
The price was exceptionally good value, in my opinion. This really is a great alternative to replacing white uPVC at a fraction of the cost. House Doctors are definitely the people to go to for this unusual and bespoke service.

We've previously used house doctors and found them extremely approachable therefore did not hesitate to contact them for advice regarding installing a 2nd hand conservatory. Mark was extremely responsive and took the time to talk through what was needed and has even offered to visit to show us the initial install and then leave us to crack on. I wouldn't go to anyone else for advice regarding double glazing and also door locks :

Absolutely fantastic job carried out by House Doctors replacing our upstairs bay window. They have done a super smart job and went above and beyond what was asked to make it look great and be safe and secure. Chaps were always on time and were very clean and tidy, would definitely use again and highly recommend to anyone needing some work done on their house!

I have 2 wooden sliding patio doors that have been difficult to shut since I bought the house in 1998. The method I was shown was one of basically brute force but that often didn't work either. It got to the stage where I didn't open them as I feared not being able to shut them. Then I found Mark on the internet! He came and spent a long time repairing and adjusting them until he was perfectly happy and then showed me how to shut them gently and properly.
I was absolutely delighted and would thoroughly recommend him to anyone with a problem. To find someone who will repair rather than immediately replace is really refreshing. Thank you!
