Really pleased with the service and product from Amber. Made a great improvement to our home visually and I'm sure will improve efficiency for the coming winters. Would highly recommend amber and it's staff couldn't fault initial survey, installation or the great product we have received. Not overpriced and very professional.

I am so very pleased with our new composite front door. The old wooden door was draughty and ran with condensation in cold weather. Amber Home Improvements were excellent and efficient from the moment we enquired about the new door right through to the fitting of it. I have used Amber for home improvements in the past including having a large conservatory from them 14 year's ago which is still in excellent condition. I am a very satisfied customer. I have added photos of our old and new door.

Great workmanship speedy and professional service at a competitive price. Giving and his team made me feel welcome and reassured of a good finish and delivered well on this would use them again but I've got no more doors or windows to be replaced. Wish I'd used them before

We found Amber an excellent choice to replace our sunroom windows and roof. They were quick, polite and very professional, and all at a reasonable cost. All rubbish was cleaned up and removed at the end of the job. All in all, an excellent company to deal with, I can't recommend them enough.

Amber offered a good price and quick turnaround from deposit to installation. The fitting was done really well and although the old plaster in one bedroom cracked around the window frame (when the old windows came out) Amber sent a plasterer the next morning to make good. The fitters were friendly and tidied up well. I'm very happy with the windows and would recommend Amber.

This is the 4th time our family has had Amber to install Windows. We found them very efficient and they kept to the time schedule arranged. The windows were quickly installed and the workmen always take care not to make any mess indoors by putting floor coverings down. Amber prices re always reasonable compared with other companies and documents are easy to understand. The office staff are helpful if you need to phone for information. We are happy to recommend their services.

Not often I leave a review but I was very pleased with the service a Amber supplied from day 1 at their showroom to fitting they have been great. It's obvious they care about their service and it shows. Oh and to boot the windows/doors are much better than my old units also

I was absolutely appalled by the service and attitude of the sales manager. The night our new porch door was installed it jammed, leaving me outside in the cold for over three hours. Amber do not have an out of hours service so I had to pay a locksmith to get me in. When explaining my plight to the sales manager the next day he told me that I "should be grateful I had a door at all, the state the country is in".

I had to explain to him that a blocked door is not a door, it is in fact a wall. The company did not attend to unjam the door for several hours after informing them, and indeed the door failed several more times over the next few weeks before Amber eventually agreed to replace the faulty door. After some discussion Amber reduced our bill by 500 - the locksmith had cost me 147 of this. Appalling and rude service, door fitters ok, office staff just dreadful. 500 discount was a joke for what we went through. Do not use this company.

We recently had new windows and new doors installed throughout the house and are extremely pleased with the end result. The designer helped with the window and door styles and everything looks great. The installation was very quick, no mess and no issues. Would 100% recommend.

I ordered bifold doors in September. From that moment. the French doors were measured by the surveyor and a quotation was soon posted to me. I agreed the price etc and was kept informed from then on when there would be fitted. The fitter did a brilliant job and cleaned up the mess after himself. They look brilliant and I don't even have to touch any paint up at all. Can't wait for the warmer weather to be able to use them!,

I have decided to go for this company as all the warranties have been very assuring. However, from the day I have signed the contract and left deposit I have been waiting over 20 weeks tonhave my front door instalation finished. I have been advised it will be 8-10weeks top. This advise have been given throughout Covid and it must of been taken into consideration.

I have received very misleading information. This is not the worst. I have received via email 2 quotes for the different handles and since I decided to go for more expensive one, my quote nr2, price of it has changed. Black and white on the email from the company has been said the price, so how can you change it? You have promised a price and not keeping your word. Installers have been really nice guys, done excellent job but they have been missing some parts.

Door arrived damaged, missing parts, wrong handles. 3weeks of trying to raise this issue with a company and all I have received is parts ordered, email passed to directors. No update regarding damage, no confirmation when it will be finished, no management call back. If they are dealing with the issue it's not the best example of treating customers fearly or dealing with complaints and problems. Customers service is shocking. If they can't sort this issue, let see how much they will like dealing with citizen advisor.

Not Happy with the service from Amber Home Improvements. It is Amber who need improvements. Nice product, poor service. I ordered bifold doors in January. The day before they were supposed to be fitted I was told that someone had altered the diary without telling anyone and they wouldn't be coming on that day. When they were fitted the fitter didn't have enough plaster to finish the job. 5 weeks later I am still waiting. Someone is coming today, but I've just spoken to him and he says he's not a plasterer.

Struggling to get a simple quote out of them. They have demonstrated poor approach to customer service. Appear to have forgotten its about what the customer wants not what they want.

It's two years since Amber built our conservatory and re-laid our patio. We had 4 quotes from different firms and were at first put off by the fact that Amber was considerably less expensive than each of the other three. Then, impressed by their groundwork and answers to our questions, we decided to go with them. Their workmen were skilled, reliable, efficient, and swift.

They were also delightful. And we love our beautiful conservatory, which matched our hopes in every way. I strongly recommend this company for their workmanship, efficiency, and incredible value for money!

Amber fitted new windows and doors to my house. The workmen arrived promptly, worked really hard, cleared up all the mess and were friendly and polite throughout. It was a pleasure to deal with the company. At no time was I pressurised into 'extras' and I am really pleased with everything. Any queries (there were only two) I have had since have been dealt with promptly and cheerfully. I would definitely use the company again and again.
