Burbage Custom Windows

I've rang Burbage windows twice for a quote and have emailed them once but got no call back. Ive had windows fitted with them before and the windows and fitters are great. Its the sales team that are not interested.

After calling them three times to come out and quote for me ( no response ) and then emailing myself with the sizes over a week ago to get a price ( still no response ) I have all but given up with the company. Its a shame the sales guys are so useless because I have had windows from them before and they have been ok.

After a delay due to supply chain issues our order was fitted and completed in an orderly manor. Well done Suzanne, Adam and the team. The fitters Paul & Phil were polite, funny amiable and professional, a tribute to burbage custom windows! Well done.

We had a new composite front door fitted. Quite a long wait for it, but that is out of their hands. Door looks great, but there was a problem with the side panel. This was sorted out satisfactorily. As I said to the manager, you only know how good a company's customer service is when things go wrong and they were very good. I would use them again

Great service thanks Paul C Its not until you need to ask for a fix to a problem 6years after the conservatory was built that you see the strength of the 10 year guarantee. You wouldn't get the level of service from a national company.

First the good point, I had fitted french doors with an opening window each side, the products look very smart and modern and operate very smoothly and I am very pleased with how they look, now the bad bits, first they were measured well under size so a guaranteed fit and packers and foam used to make up the difference. New internal cills were fitted which are ok except there was a 25mm visible section of the external cill upstand poking above the top of the internal cills, I lived with it for a week then took off the cills and re bedded them so I no longer can see any of the upstand from inside, I asked the fitters how they were going to make good the plaster work around the windows to which they said " with 45mm plastic trim" again I didn't want this I wanted a plaster finish right up to the frame this wasn't a option so I agreed to do this repair myself, when the old internal cills were removed they knocked a 4" section of plaster dado rail off the wall when I asked if they had kept it they said no it has gone in the rubbish so another job I had inherited.

I can see daylight through the bottom of one of the frame extenders which will need filling as water will easily get through to the inside. When the glass was fitted 3 of the units had the toughened logo in the same place and the 4th was completely opposite but when asked the fitter did take out and turn the unit to match the other 3, overall the products are good but the measuring and fitting are terrible, , I will not be using this company again that's for sure.

Very busy company all ways helpful, was loading and delivering cages for recycling there waste. Lad on the folklif senable and safe.

Best place around for Windows and Doors (conservatories etc) uPVC or Aluminium. Half the price of any of the 'Big Players', and higher thermally rated windows. Great service, zero pressure sales guy, so friendly.

Picked up windows service and product was good and fitted perfectly, good simple website with easy to use information and instructions. Also friendly staff who are helpful if you need to talk to someone over the phone

Strange review this one, Did email BCW but had no reply! You don't know what you ve got until you undo what you have had. Had these windows fitted 20 yrs ago and tobe fair they have been okay. Recently had them replaced and its at this point I found out about the shabby instillation. I ll start with the front door 10/15 mm gap around the edge covered over with trim, and no insulation in gap, above the door 30/40 mm gap trimmed either side no insulation in the gap.

Small window, not drilled or fixed in at all, just siliconed in place. Front bay window, where the sill is cut into the brickwork, the protective film had been stripped from the frames and been shoved in the whole to pack out the mortar required to finish the job. Photos attached.

The whole process worked like clockwork. All the timings were excellent and the work was carried out in two working days. The fitters were very friendly and helpful. We replaced an old wooden conservatory with a new white plastic one more in keeping with the bungalow. We only had to repaint the two walls where we had to have some re-plastering. With new fitted blinds we are getting a lot of praise from visitors and friends. Would highly recommend this company.

We have had many new windows and doors fitted by Burbage Custom Windows and have had a good experience with them. They were efficient and quick, and we think their prices are very good. We were also impressed with their showroom and even got to see the factory which seems very professional and organised, unlike others we have seen.
