My mum Joyce who lives in Wallasey Village, ordered 2 replacement windows for her upstairs rooms late last year. There was a slight delay in Hardmans getting all the materials in, but she only had to wait a few weeks longer than they initially said for fitting, which can't be helped since Brexit/Covid i hear a lot of companies are struggling getting materials in especially when they are not coming from the UK.
As soon as they had all the products in they came to fit the windows quickly. Anyway it was worth the wait, she is really pleased with the work that was carried out, they didn't leave any mess, i believe she dealt with Connor. She would use them again if she needed any more windows or doors replacing. I have left this review on behalf of my mum as she does not have the internet!

Very disappointed in Hardman's, like many others I have had work done by them in the past, I had a quote for a new roof and various work which we accepted and signed the contract, the expected date of the work was June we were contacted to say due to Covid and supply issues they were delayed, fair enough. We then waited and waited and in the end contacted them and got a new date for late August which was also cancelled at short notice actually on the day they where due to start.
This was outrageous as we had taken time away from work to be available for the second time. I have since rang both the shop and mobiles leaving many messages and they have not once called me back which I find very poor that they can not even be courteous and return my calls. I hope other people are not suffering this sort of service as it has caused us upset and stress and now means we will have to find an alternative supplier. If you read this Hardman's you need to do the decent thing and get in touch as this sort of treatment is not fair.

Very pleased with my new conservatory and price reasonable and quality of construction and frames good. Mike who did groundwork was great and punctual and kept the site clean. People need to appreciate this initial work takes nearly a week. You then have to wait around 6 weeks for frames to be measured and manufactured. The 2 Peter's who then fitted the frames and roof in very hot weather were great.
I have deducted one star as we got no notice for when the roof and later skirting board were being delivered and just luck we happened to be home when manufacturer delivered.

I have had multiple windows installed by Hardmans Conservatories and i could not recommend their work highly enough. The fitters are very professional and clean workers and where happy to answer any questions i had about the job. Customer service and after sales was good especially during these current times.

What a letdown, we had bi-fold doors fitted by Hardmans a couple of years ago - excellent THEN! We placed an order for a new front and back door and replacement fogged up panes in July 20 and was advised 5/ 6 weeks for installation - fair enough due to the Covid situation, but after 7 weeks I rang to ask where my order was and was told "we have been hit with Covid and supply issues SIR" - fair enough but why weren't we informed as part of customer service?
I had to ring again to get a confirmed instalation date, the job done some 2 weeks later and a directors son signed the job off, I later noticed the back door was misaligned and not shutting correctly and again afer serveral more phones from me and MORE Covid excuses the job was FINALLY completed 2 weeks ago, at NO time did either director advise me or update me, just the poor hardworking employee Nicola had the courage to do so. ZERO customer service from the brothers just excuses, so there is ZERO chance I will use Hardmans or recommend them again! I tried to use and support a local company, but was sadly let down. Stop hiding Hardmans and give customer service or face lose your customers!

Can't recommend Hardmans enough. Mark and Gary were always on hand to answer any questions. We had some problems with the local council who were querying our planning application for 2 windows. Mark was always on hand to help, and even made the journey to Liverpool to meet the council conservation officer who wanted to come to the property. After the windows were fitted we had a minor snag with one of the handles (manufacturers error) but Hardmans sent someone out rectify the problem pretty quickly. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting conservation style windows fitted. Thanks for all your help Gary and Mark.

We had a Orangery fitted by Hardmans. We are so happy with the service they provided, from the planning and 3d drawings they provided which helped us visualize the finished effect. The base crew Mike and Conor did a superb job and the fitters Gordon and also the plasterer and electrician nothing was to much trouble. I would and have recommended Hardmans to our friends as we are so happy with the installation they have done for us. Thank you hardmans for all your professional and high quality workmanship it looks great.

This is the second time i have used Hardmans and what a great company to deal with. Brilliant quality windows and doors and fitted to the highest standard. I would highly recommend then which i have done. My friend has had a orangery fitted and it is stunning wish i had the space you get one myself after seeing what it looks like. Thanks again Hardmans for another great job. Mike

We had a new composite front door fitted by hardmans on the 27th of April nearly a month later and 5 further visits/attempts at rectifing the issues with the poor workmanship, faulty lock mechanism and ill fitting window it is still not fixed. To top it off the person they sent to repair the issues, scratched the interior side of the door when trying to swap window units. Gary Harman and his staff are now ignoring my messages to contact me regarding fixing the issues caused by their incompetent staff.

Replaced a very old wooden backdoor with a uPVC frosted one about 3 months ago. Gary was very helpful - whole process took 5 weeks from initial phone call to installation of the door. Very happy with the service (we don't live on the Wirral but this was not a problem), the cost and the product and have asked them back to replace some double glazing. Thankfully very different experience from some of the other reviews.

They're fine if you have a big job. If you only have a small job, they will have to fit it between the bigger jobs and as they have no idea how to manage their time, they will put you off at the last minute even if you are waiting in for them. Agree with previous posting - it's not the Hardmans of 30 years ago.

You need to teach your van drivers to drive properly around roundabouts.at 10am this morning, one of your drivers almost wiped me out on the roundabout at the top of Wallasey village! If it wasn't for my fast reactions to do an emergency stop on the roundabout he would have caused serious damage. He was approaching the roundabout in the incorrect lane & crossed across to the left one whilst going round.oblivious to the fact I was even there! Serious problems for your company if we had collided! Fleet training might be in order!

Do not do business with Hardmans (Wallasey), I spend a lot of money with them on a porch and conservatory. On several days no workmen turned up, no explanation and 15 different people worked on the job, it was a joke. If you challenge either Mark or Gary Hardman they get really nasty with you. Now the job is finally completed and I am having issues with the conservatory, but of course it is impossible to speak to either Mark or Gary, they are out, not available, on the phone. Stay away from Hardmans, don't waste your money or time with them, they do not deserve to be in business.

This little DIY shop is here for you if you need windows fitted, doors replaced, or you just want to do a project yourself, they can supply you with the tools and materials necessary. Obviously they aren't as big as B&Q, but they do have the basics, and they do not know what they are talking about, so it's easy to ask them for help or assistance. Also, this guy must like pets because he also sells a random couple of pet treats and food in his little shop!
