I had a number of problems before the installation, including a sales person assuring me none of the woodwork would have to be replaced, followed by the visit of a surveyor telling me most of the woodwork would have to be replaced and it will be 260 more expensive than the offer and contract I had already signed before. After another 2 visits by the surveyor he decided the existing woodwork can be used again and it would not be more expensive.
This surveyor also assured me, after being asked 3 times, that all the work would be carried out in one day "no problem". A day was arranged 21/03/2022 to install the windows. I arranged for somebody to take my son to nursery and pick him up and took a day of work. At 10.30 I called the office if somebody would still come and they told me there was a mix up with the shifts and nobody would come.
We arranged another installation date (25/03/2022) and 2 tradesmen turned up. The first thing they mentioned after looking at the paperwork from the surveyor was that it was put down as a three-man job, which nobody seemed to have regarded as important. Instead of the 3 windows they then managed to install one. After another 2 visits and two more days I had to partly take off work, all three windows were installed.
However they forgot to seal the wood around 1 window, did not install the hinges, as agreed in the contract, of another window and need to come back a forth time. After the 4th visit everything was done and I explained my dissatisfaction about the whole experience. As an answer I got the standard "we are sorry, but." and a 10% discount on a future purchase. Thanks, but no thanks.

Shocking service. New patio door fitted 3 weeks ago. Doesn't close reliably. AW have been out to fix it 3 times- still not working. A door that doesn't close isn't really a door and is clearly not fit for purpose Shocking after sales. Left my mum with a insecure house overnight today. Advice today from AW was to get a locksmith but this came with a warning that it may invalidate warranty! Quite unbelievable from door company

Wanted to use them because they were a Scottish company and manufactured in Scotland. Wish I hadn't. Installer turned up dressed in filthy (and smelly) clothes. 2 windows out of 7 were broken. Varying accounts depending on to whom I was speaking as to the status of the installer. Initially Chris, an installation manager, said they were self employed.
Then said they were contracted to them 3 days a week. According to Gavin, another installation manager they are contracted 5 days a week. Fact is, my installer was not employed directly by the company. Not what I would have expected. They fitted the windows. (They had already fitted a broken one before they told me it was broken). On completion, didn't give me a walk round as I have been subsequently told they should.
Didn't clean the windows. Cleared up inside but left a mess of debris outside on the driveway and on the roof. Even managed to get mastic on the paviers. Broke the cover of the gas meter, I presume by standing on it to install a window. Left a mark on our new carpet. Marks on walls. Be sure to read clause 6 of their T & C's because this, according to Chris, absolves them of any damage they may inflict on your property.
Didn't leave keys for the windows. I felt I should have had a reduction for the poor service so I withheld 200 of a 4600 purchase. They were adamant I had to pay it otherwise they said they would invalidate my guarantee. Wrote to Andy Martin the general manager. Apparently he is too busy to reply. Gavin said, if it was Virgin, I wouldn't expect Richard Branson to reply. Laughable comparison.
At least when Virgin Rail service let me down, I got a refund. Have been assured that customer service is important to them but from the impression they give that could not be further from the truth. An installer came out and replaced the broken windows. He was much better than the original one. I have subsequently very reluctantly paid the balance.
Quality of windows seems ok but this is the most defensive company I have ever dealt with. Would have got further windows replaced by them but wouldn't let them in my house again now. Would rather board my windows up. Hope nothing goes wrong with the windows I got as I never want to have to deal with them again. P.S. Despite complaining and writing to Andy Martin, got a standard letter saying they hoped I was delighted. Encouraged me to review my experience. Well, here it is.

Reported an issue with new windows in 2019 and asked Andrew Wright to send someone out to look at the issue. They refused to send someone out. I contacted them again recently and sent photos of the issue which is getting worse. They haven't actually looked at the windows and refuse to send anyone out but are blaming the fitting of the windows. These are triple glazed units and the issue is like frost Mark on the internal pane, nothing to do with fitting. Customer service 0 Avoid this company at all costs.

Avoid this company like the plague. I usually only write positive reviews when I have received outstanding service/products, however this time I feel compelled to have to write a negative one. Not worth the stress even dealing with this company, they are an absolute nightmare to deal with- complete lack of organisation, communication and professionalism within the office. Which is a huge shame as Craig from sales, the builders and the window fitters were excellent to deal with and are sadly let down from the Head Office Team.

DON'T BUY IF YOU WANT A WATER TIGHT CONSERVATORY. Very very poor after care service. Our conservatory has a lot of leaks in the roof, one of the coping stones is not cemented on and puddles form in different places when it rains. Phone calls go unattended to and we are left with the worry of where the next puddle is going to be. The plaster on the wall is crumbling and water marks are everywhere on the wall where the conservatory joins onto the house. NO SIGN OF ANY REPAIRS BEING DONE. Over a year ago I wrote this review and we still have not had the repair done.

Hands down the worst experience I've ever had with any company! Was charged for work that was never carried out; windows arrived damaged and took months to sort out. Fitters left cigarette ends, debris etc in our garden.m. Wrong door fitted and they refused to replace it until we paid our outstanding balance. When we refused to do this we were sent threatening letters demanding payment. Threats to take us to court and that they were going to come and remove our windows.
Their bully boy tactics were disgusting and after sales was non-existant! Did not matter to them that we had spent thousands of pounds! Ended up contacting Trading Standards and seeking legal advice. Incredibly stressful experience, avoid at all costs!

Very poor service, I enquired about getting an extension done. They phoned back and said that they would contact me in a few days to arrange a house visit. That was two weeks ago, looks like I dodge a bullet with this company if that's the way they treat a potential customer i hate to think what there actually workmanship is like

We have just bought a house with a conservatory guarantee for 2 1/2 years. This week we have a roof leak- they wont honour the guarantee as it was the previous owners who signed the contract- they wont sell us a guarantee extension and we were told we live too far away ( although they built it in the first place) to repair it and to get someone local. Disgusting service- the guarantee covers their work not who lives in the house- we are appalled plus we still have a roof leak- we dont recommend this company at all.

Poor Service from the start, poor quality doors, poor quality handles. Girl spoke to their product manager re handles he didn't even come out to speak to me and not prepared to change them, I was willing to pay a decent price and in my opinion they didn't care. Would definitely not recommend this company.

Very poor customer service from installation manager. He seemed to think there was no one we could complain too other than him. Had to go to trading standards before anyone would take our concerns seriously. Now awaiting outcome of our complaint about door which was not hung correctly and even if it had been it would not have made the glass within the door straight nor the rain bar straight.
Very disappointed in the poor quality of both workmanship and customer service. Will update when or if problems are rectified. As of todays date 18/1/19 we finally have yet another new door in place. The customer care manager has been very helpful once he realised exactly what was happening and not just believing installation manager. Customer care manager has visited us three times at our property and was again out today to make sure we were happy for them to proceed. Once work complete we have to phone him and let him know if we are satisfied with the work. I will update again once work is completed.
