Disappointed After having Custom Glaze replace all of our windows in the past, we were always pleased with the work and service. So when we decided to have a new front door, we had no hesitation in ordering it from them as well and the fitters did an excellent job. However we ordered the superior locks which gave us six keys, instead of the standard three keys, but when fitted there was only three keys left with my wife.

I contacted the aftercare department and was informed that I was correct and there should be three keys however they don't know the key code and would I mind ordering them and they could issue a credit note for the cost. I contacted the lock makers and ordered 4 keys and received key caps free of charge (4 keys saving on postage), I then sent a copy of the invoice for the keys to custom glaze expecting a credit of 58.50 for three of the keys.

This where it all got silly! I received a credit of 38.96. I couldn't understand how that amount was reached as that made each key cost 12.9866667 each which was ridiculous. Emails where sent back and forth, with custom glaze stating that the amount charged was for three keys less the cost of caps (which where free ). Even if the caps weren't free of charge, the pricing still didn't make sense.

I then had to send proof that the caps were free of charge, this indicates to me that they had not at any time checked the price of single keys but just made up a figure that didn't make sense. Anyway, after a lot of emails I eventually received the correct credit along with a letter reminding me to pay the balance. This was also annoying as it was them that was holding up the payment.

I had to spend my time ordering keys and proving that I wasn't trying fiddle them out of a few pounds for keys that should have been provided In the first place. This has made me reluctant to recommend Custom Glaze to others, all over a silly amount of money that was their error in the first place. I would say that my email contact there was always very helpful it seemed more someone in accounts or management was being petty. If it hadn't been for all of this nonsense, I would have given a 4 star rating at least

Absolutely disgusted with experience. Rude staff, zero communication and condescending to customers. This company is DELIBERATELY DECEPTIVE, the only thing they consistently provide are untruths and disgraceful customer service. I urge you to not waste your time and money with this terrible company unless you want pay above rate for inadequate work and to be treated with contempt.

Repeatedly booked dates for a large installation, chased constantly for updates but receive nothing. 6 months later and 2nd failed install was informed one day prior (via email at 16:55) after multiple days of enquiry, only to learn that the items have not even begun production. Alongside this we had a door fitting due at 8AM, contacted custom glaze at 10am to ask for update - fitter was "off sick" so someone else sent at last minute in PM.

Door fitted wasn't as described and fitter left holes in wall. Seems they have no awareness of work carried out or professional standards. They do not care about your experience or value as a customer, but are very quick to DEMAND MONEY for unfinished work. They will tell you initially that it is a 6-8 week turnaround. 20 weeks later, they will blame 'supplier staff shortages' and provide you with a third set of new dates in 6 weeks time (though this delay will certainly be significantly longer, and they are fully aware of this).

This is a deliberate tactic to negatively impact the consumer as should you request to cancel your order you become 'bound within your contract' and will (in their own words) have to pay them more money. When questioned about what work this money has been spent on they will have no answer because the answer is: nothing. They EXTORT customers and have retained over 2000 for no work whatsoever, under the assumption that bullying, THREATENING and scaremongering will retain custom. Utterly appalling and despicable behaviour. DO NOT RECOMMEND. AVOID.

This company is a scam. 7 months and 0 work complete on our windows. Not even started production. Do not use. We are starting court proceedings and don't want other to have to deal with this company. They aren't a small family company anymore they are a family of theives

Strongly advise you steer clear of customers glaze. They have stolen our money. Thousands of pounds taken for 0 work complete on our window order after 6 months. They refuse to refund our deposit they are a scam. AVOID!

While service was good at point of fitting, follow up service during warranty wasn't the best, but happened with some chasing, after warranty do not expect ANY support even chargeable at they do not want to know! Our roof panel has blown out of place and they offer no support to resolve even with insurance company willing to pay out for it.

We ordered a front door with Custom Glaze in August this year, and put down a deposit, and were told it would be around 8 weeks to installation - since then it has been a farce, with a delayed survey, and repeated phone calls to clarify details we'd given previously. The latest, as of Nov 23 - three months after paying a deposit - is that the door we've ordered isn't possible, as the supplier no longer makes the glass we chose.

We've been advised to choose new glass, but it still likely won't be done before Christmas, the one thing we wanted when we ordered in the summer. We'd prefer to cancel, but according to CG we'd lose the deposit we paid -- on a product which they cannot provide. Appalling communication, service, and general experience.

This is the third time I have used Custom Glaze now and really couldn't be happier with the service. Everyone we have dealt with has been friendly and professional, and the quality of installation by Billy and Tom was fantastic. A joy to deal with and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Used Custom Glaze several times for both window/door replacement and repair work and been totally satisfied. Sales, products supplied, installation and crucially after sales support all excellent.

Highly recommended in the Milton Keynes area. We have used them for all replacement windows, doors, and cladding over the last 10 years or so. They are reliable, do an excellent job, clear up properly, and don't charge the earth!

Thanks to Adam, Ben and Matt who have just finished changing all our windows and adding three more. The quality of the work is excellent, and despite knocking holes in a couple of walls the mess was kept to a minimum and subsequently cleaned up really well. The windows look great and the team were both professional and friendly. I cannot recommend Custom Glaze highly enough.

We would not hesitate in recommending Custom Glaze, they have been exceptional from start to finish with our conservatory. We were kept up to date every step of the way and were always available on the phone or via email to answer any concerns or questions. All members of the team we have dealt with from the sale rep, our project manager and service department administrator have been fantastic. The workman were always promptly on time, neat and tidy and carried out their work to to a high standard

Custom Glaze were fantastic, no damage caused to tiles where the windows removed, cleaned up after there selves. Very efficient, nothing was to much trouble. I can't rate the workmanship highly enough. No messing about with pricing, like some companies starting high & then knocking down. I obtained a few quotes for new window, doors and some cladding at the back of 2016. Custom Glaze were not quite the cheapest but they certainly died the most interested and were x attentive to my questions. I subsequently decided to instruct CG and I am absolutely delighted I did. The install went without fault. The installers were friendly and I felt relaxed with them in my house.

There was one small issue with a rubber seal on the front door. But the installer brought this to my attention and immediately arranged for this to be replaced. There is nothing more I could have asked for.
