Established in Huddersfield in 1997, The Lockwood Window Company is a long standing family business specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of both a bespoke and standard range of PVCu windows, doors and conservatories, and composite doors through sister company Composite Doors Yorkshire.
At Lockwood Windows we are not prepared to compromise on quality, and have invested heavily to provide the most energy-efficient and secure window systems available on the market today. Windows which are installed must be compliant with building regulations in regards to thermal loss, as all homes now need to be as energy efficient as possible.
In order to achieve the required energy ratings, some manufacturers and suppliers are compromising on the important security aspect of window and door installation. To ensure that every window and door we produce is as secure as possible, we offer customers the Kommerling 070 and C70 frame system, which are both highly energy efficient and secure with galvanised steel reinforcement.
Alongside our domestic customers, we also supply to both the trade and retail sectors - an area that we believe is a vital part of our business. We have been selling to the trade since we were established in 1997, and have built up a good rapport with our customers, who include award-winning Yorkshire based property developers.

Critical: Responsiveness Don't bother asking this company for a price, they'll just waste your time. Richard the owner called to measure up 25 windows and a door. Five weeks later and several phone calls, none of which have been returned, still no price. I'll take my custom elsewhere. Lockwood windows, if you can't take on the work, don't waste peoples' time!

We have just had our full house done, and couldn't be happier! 3 door by fold on the back, 2 doors and full windows throughout. From inquiry to measure to fit, everyone involved has been fantastic. Our fitter was brilliant. I expected to do some cleaning and maybe a bit of painting after, but not required! Every room was clean and the sills finished off perfectly. The doors were the same, finished off perfectly. Thank you very much.

Give them the keys & let them get on with the job, oh & leave them coffee & tea, we all need a cuppa. Very trustworthy, polite & all very helpful. Richard measured up and was really helpful and informative. No frills no bulls**t you get what you see. Very competitive quote and he arrived when arranged. Raymond was excellent in showing us the showroom and discussing the myriad of options. Supplied pieces of uPVC in different colours to help in our decision making. The fitters Simon and Lewis are spot on, clean tidy and hard working. Simon was able to adapt the fitting to meet our needs which helped so much as we were concerned about the aesthetics, this helped more than anything in many ways. I would recommend Lockwood Windows!

From start to finish Lockwood Windows have provided a very professional service. Visited their showroom on a number of occasions and was given great advice on purchasing bi-folds. Was kept informed on delivery date which was even brought forward; quite unusual these days! Installation was quick with very little mess. Would highly recommend. Delighted with the new front and back doors installed for us recently by Lockwood Windows. They've substantially improved the insulation, and look fantastic. A very neat job, and Matt and Josh were a delight to have around the house. Excellent service also from Raymond in the showroom, who patiently helped us select the right products, and kept the schedule on track with good communication.
