Quick Slide

My sister and her husband bought Quickslide sash windows, and they have had continuous problems with the quality: springs breaking, glazing units breaking down, windows rattling etc etc. The company blame the fitter, the way the windows are being opened and closed, in fact anything but themselves. Quick slide is a sales organisation which sells a low quality product at trade prices.

The staff make fortune in commission, and that keeps them loyal and prepared to say anything to get the deal. Afterwards, they're not interested in problems. You will never see their products on a top end build.

Great service, easy to deal with, no issues making amendments to quotes, delivered when they said they would. Great quality.

(Deceuninck) Website includes initial online design/quote process. Replies are very prompt! All the staff I dealt with were friendly, helpful and obviously very experienced! Lead date for delivery was excellent!

Price quoted was more than competitive, especially for the quality! Delivery was almost to the minute! Delivery driver was very helpful! Highly recommend Quickslide, I will definitely advise friends and family to consider them when considering new and/or replacement windows!

I personally wouldn't even give 1 star for customer service. They provide instructions on their website yet aren't willing to discuss them, they provide incorrect information continually and overall the staff have a 'defensive' attitude when asked basic questions. We won't be using them again in the future just based on that.

There have been delays on top of delays with the supply of our windows to the fitter which has put our building project months behind schedule. The windows we have so far are fine but the service has been appalling.

Bought a house with some quickslide windows in that were sash style, the guy on the front desk couldn't have been more helpful! Having struggled on my last attempt he got one of the engineers out to help and show me how to replace the balance springs. Both are a credit to your business!

Just wish the customer support was better. Would be nice to speak and order parts as would spend quiet abit over the year.

I used QuickSlide via a third party, after very bad service from the third party, i tracked down the supplier who were Quickslide and i cannot say anything bad about them. The fitters who helped me with advise over the phone where first class, i was able to get spares quickly. When i had to book a repair in, they were quick and very good. Nothing bad to say - I just wish all Window companies were as good as them.

Sadly and after much consideration, I really can not give more than 2 stars to this company. Firstly, the plastic sach windows do look good. There are a few dissapointing trim issues, but over all the windows look almost like a genuine victorian window. This is not a rant, but a considered and factual account of our experience with Quick Slide. We saved hard and long to replace our nasty 20 year old plastic windows in our victorian terrace with bay window.

We travelled from Preston to see the showroom and we were promised the earth by the sales man. He assured me that the new windows would DEFINATELY out perform the old windows. There was NO QUESTION about it, I really made clear this was an important issue, it wasnt just about looks as the house is old and cold. But sadly the reality is the new windows are louder than the old (except for my bedroom we opted for sound proof glass at an extra and that is good) and we now have a constant draught from the bay window particularly on windy days, despite the engineer coming out twice and putting various bits of extra foam in!

We could have and should have paid half the money and stuck with casement windows as clearly the sach window tecnology is still victorian, and when I asked how the company can claim to sell 'a rated' windows when my 20 year old ones were more efficient, the answer was that they are tested. When I sent a video showing my simple test of a tissue blowing in the draught I didnt even get a reply.

I did get replies from the MD when I told him I wasnt happy to be paying TWICE the price of normal windows for a window that I was PROMISED would perform better than it does, and he ended up offering me a very small reduction or the threat of court, which really annoyed me as they are the ones that have broken the law by misselling and misleading me!

I VERY NEARLLY decided to go as I am SO DISSAPOINTED with these windows and the way I was missold, misled and frankly LET DOWN. I didnt want a reduction in price, I wanted new windows that would 1. Look good and 2. keep my house warm. Stick to casements if you want warmth! REALLY DISSAPOINTED

Quickslide supplied superb windows and french doors for my new Home Office. Great quality, loved the service and support, and excellent communications throughout.

Had cream sash windows and a new door fitted. The products look really good and the fitting was outstanding. Our bay window is pretty big, and the windows look fantastic. I look the door, and the green and blue glass was a great design tip. Would recommend.
