Iron Glaze

Had 13 windows fitted, excellent service & workmanship, great product looks great and very happy with service, highly recommended.

Hello first time l have used lronglaze and they have been brilliant from Carol who takes calls the salesman, surveyor and installation fitters could not have given a more delightful experience and the quote was the best of 3 i obtained, will definitely use them again.

I have always used Ironglaze as they have been really good and I am genuinely not wanting to do this review but feel it is the only thing to do. The installation went well but the after sales have been poor. I am very disappointed with the fact that the back door locking mechanism broke within 6 weeks of fitting, back in Feb 21. To enable us to open and close the door they did return to remove the broken part and said they would order a new bit for me so I can secure the door properly, 10 months later they have still not fixed the issue.

I have made numerous phone calls and sent emails to no conclusion! They have been back once but they didn't have the correct replacement part on the van. The after sales chap said they would order this, but again I have not heard a word from them since Oct. I know it has been a hard year but 10 months waiting for a replacement locking mechanism is not acceptable

Still waiting on a quote been nearly 3 months not impressed I used too think this company was excellent now having doubts.

We could not be happier with our front door. It has transformed and modernised the look of our house and created a brighter hallway.

Great service, fitting completed to a high standard and left my home clean and tidy in between fittings. Friendly team, easy to get in contact with. Would definitely use them again

When our new front door was installed it came with the wrong colour panels and a different window frame to the one agreed. Although there was no problem with the actual installation, the after-sales experience fell woefully short of expectation. We constantly had to chase them because we heard nothing, and after countless phone calls and many promises the new panels and astragal for the window arrived.

This took five months. We were told when the door was fitted that there would likely be need for it to be adjusted when the summer months approached, so I phoned and was told an installation manager would call back to arrange a visit. That was ten days ago. I'm not holding my breath. I wouldn't recommend this company.

Came in this afternoon to buy an off the shelf window, and haven't received such good customer service for a long while from anybody. Without exception, all staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Asked for a quote, got back to me quickly to say they would arrange a visit. However nothing else came from that. Never contacted me again to arrange a visit. I then managed to buy my windows through safestyle who responded quickly and offered a reasonable price with 24hours.

Iron glaze are great we are so pleased with our new windows and doors. Shaun was fantastic providing excellent customer service and the fitters were very friendly and communicated with us really well as to the plan each day also leaving no mess at end of each day they tidied up fantastically.

I cannot fault Iron Glaze. The fitting of my new front door has exceeded expectations. Shaun's approach to customer service was second to none. There was no pushy sales pitch, just a friendly and informative visit to find out what I wanted, to which he emailed me with options the same day. The door looks brilliant and I am now arranging my back door to be replaced through Shaun. Would highly recommend and personally wouldn't ever use another company.

Cannot thank Iron Glaze enough especially Phil and Carol! Yesterday whilst moving into a new home I discovered that my sofa didn't fit through the door. I called them and within half an hour Phil was at my property removing the glass to help me get it in. Amazing customer service and I will certainly be recommending them in future. Very good company to deal with when we needed new windows in our 1930s detached house. The salesman was helpful, pleasant and not pushy unlike some other firms who pestered me on the phone. Guided us on the types of windows including the coloured/leaded options as we were keen to replicate the existing stained glass that were a feature on our stairwell.

Price was competitive and we prefer to use a local/family firm. Once we gave the go ahead a detailed survey was carried out by a knowledgeable guy who ensured that the new windows would fit exactly. The fitters were all good, particularly Carl who went the extra mile. They took care to minimise damage to decor and the inconvenience Only a few minor issues encountered. Ironglaze were keen to do a good job in replicating our existing stained glass windows and even arranged the fitting of temporary double glazed units so that the original panes could be taken to a specialist to be copied.

The temporary units were then swapped for the new coloured/leaded ones. This was excellent service, and better than working from photos alone. Philip the owner is very hands on and contacted me a couple of times and resolved a couple of concerns directly even on Sundays. My only criticism would be that there was some rush on the installation work, particularly as one of the fitters was called away to another job, and, later, an extra job had been squeezed in to their day.

The main impact was it meant me doing more of the cleaning up than some would like, though I prefer to help anyway. Overall a quality job from a local company that take a pride in their work and are easy/straightforward to deal with. We would recommend them and use them again.

Great service from Ironglaze. I called at 4pm on Saturday afternoon after we had an issue with our bi-fold door which prevented us from closing it. Within an hour a member of the team came out & resolved the problem which enabled us to securely close our door which would have been a security issue. Can't fault the service & we are extremely grateful (especially on a weekend).
