Northwich Glass Ltd has been a family owned and run business since it was established in 1959 by the founder, George Taylor. With over 60 years of trade behind us, we have seen many changes in the industry, many driven by the demand of customers as people understand better their needs and wants, here at Northwich Glass Ltd we pride ourselves on listening to our customers, providing a personal, helpful experience as we understand better than anybody choosing the right windows, conservatory or bi-folding door system can be very daunting.
In 1959 Mr George Taylor opened a D.I.Y shop in Lydyett Lane, Barnton, Northwich which his wife Sheila ran, selling paint, wallpaper hardware and glass. George was a painter and decorator for ICI and in 1964 took voluntary redundancy and began to expand the business. He concentrated on the glass and D.I.Y. side until 1968 when he installed his first double glazed unit manufactured by Pilkington Glass.
History - Northwich Glass celebrates over 60 years in business, no company has fitted more windows and doors in Mid Cheshire. The main reason for our longevity is our commitment to providing first class service to our customers. They trust us to fulfil many of their home improvement needs and recommend us to their friends and family.

Very poor. Agreed an appointment for Northwich Glass to come round at 10am. They didn't show up and I left at 10:30am. Called later to find out what happened and the guy who was supposed to come round didn't leave the previous customer until 11am but I was left uninformed. I asked Northwich Glass to rearrange an appointment with the estate agent, a week goes by and they do nothing. Really unprofessional and a waste of time.

What a let down, used them before but what a disaster this time. Broke bathroom window, broke patio garden lights, scratched my awning, no covers, left gutters full of cement and debris, the sealant under the sills has been slapped on. They are not returning immediately to put things right but approximately three to four weeks time Have been given money to buy new patio lights but no more.

I've been waiting nearly 5 weeks for a quote for all new windows and doors on my house. I wasted my time having the appointment and visiting the showroom. I've given up emailing as I've had no response from my last few emails. Disappointing service and I have now gone elsewhere as I can't wait any longer.

I wanted to use a local firm for several renovation projects on my house. I waited a few weeks after they had re-opened after Covid closures and called, 3 times (leaving a verbal messages on 2 occasions saying I wanted a quote and being told some one on "the desk" would call me the next day) I filled in their online contact form twice and I emailed one of their sales team directly.
I realise that they maybe short staffed, but a simple return of a call or email to acknowledge my custom would have been enough. Not sure what else I could have done to give them business. Sadly I took my custom elsewhere.

All round brilliant company! My experience from my initial enquiry to after completion of my installation was superb! Fantastic showroom and helpful sales staff, very reasonable price and I did get other quotes, the fitters were well mannered, friendly and left my property spotless at the end of each day! I would not hesitate to recommend Northwich Glass and I will definitely be using them for future work.

Northwich Glass fitted a front composite door and 5 windows in my house. Great from the start, beautiful showroom with a wide range of windows and doors to look at in person. Sales staff were very helpful and knowledgeable! You really do get value for money with this company. Very competitive price and very quick to get in touch once I had placed the order.
The installation was quick and the fitters were really polite and cleaned up after themselves. All looks perfect and works just as I expected! I would defiantly recommend and will 100% be using Northwich Glass again!

I hate double glazing sales people/companies and always have done, although I'm pleased to report with Northwich Glass the experience was second to none from start to finish with no hassle whatsoever. From the initial visit of Andrew through to the installation team Paul and Rob I think they were called. An excellent job, well done guys. Would certainly recommend them.
