Carera Windows

After going out to 3 companies for quotes for a conservatory we chose Carera. They weren't the cheapest but to be fair all three quotes were similar. One company quoted for a conserva base which I knew I didn't want, we wanted a proper dwarf wall. From first measurement to completed conservatory was around 2 months, they quoted worst case scenario of 3 months so we were happy with the outcome.

The builders were here for a about 2 and a half days in total digging the foundations and building the dwarf wall and base (they found a perfect match for our existing brickwork). The fitting team from Carera were on site for 4 days fitting the conservatory and snagging any little faults and helping the electrician pull the cables. We are absolutely delighted with the result, the rosewood colour is also a perfect match for the rest of the house. The actual conservatory is built to a very high standard and I know we made the right choice.

From quote to completion was over 3 months. During that time, we encountered delays and poor communication. We felt ignored and had to keep phoning to find out when the bricks were coming, the surveyor etc. When I complained, I was contacted by an arrogant man who was less than apologetic or sympathetic and blamed "Covid",s taff shortages etc. It would not have hurt to keep us informed of the fitting date etc. However, I can report no delay in sending the invoice.

It arrived within 24 hours of completion. No one thought to ask if we were satisfied beforehand. We are but would never use you again or recommend you to anyone else. Customer service needs great improvement.

Carera recently installed four new windows in our house including a replacement Guardian lightweight roof system with integrated roof lights on our conservatory. We are absolutely delighted with the results. From concept to completion this family run business provided a customer focused service of the highest quality which we would thoroughly recommend. I would highly recommend this company. Very competitive price that stayed the same when I eventually decided to go ahead 12 months later. Just had windows fitted to front & side of house & lovely front door. The fitters were brilliant & very efficient. Now planning to have back of house done later in the year.

Just had an installation completed on the house (12 new windows plus a new front door). Can see why the company is so recommended. Ian was very polite and informative on the initial visit and gave us confidence on the work that would be done. Dan and Rich were so professional, polite, considerate and constantly cleaning up after themselves not just after but during the installation. First class job and would highly recommend them. We will be reusing them again for our conservatory within the next few months.

Our great new conservatory is finish and we now able to enjoy in the sun. Our journey started in Feb 2020, but the lockdown delayed the go ahead, we finally agreed to Carera design and price and work started on the foundation in June. However It was a very difficult time with all the problems faced during the pandemic, lockdown and also some major challenges with the project due to technical design on the load bearing for the Bifold doors.

Design was changed. Professionalism, Good service and Update were provided by Ian, Mark and Kerry throughout the project. Work on the installation conservatory was completed in December. Lewis and his team were fantastic during the installation phase, polite, great craftmanship, as well as the other contractors for electrical and plastering. There were delays but we were happy as long as the work was completed at a high standard.

The final work from completed in January. I then had planned my own work with door/window spraying, flooring and UFH heating, finally completed in March. Below (pics) is the outcome a fantastic Conservatory, the quality of the build is excellent, and I cannot recommend Carera enough. Thanks to the whole team at Carera.

Just had a New Build on the rear of our house to replace the old Conservatory. We contacted Carera at the beginning of this year and started planning for the extension. It was a very difficult time with all the problems they faced during the pandemic due to supplies and lockdown. They started work and relentlessly faced all the challenges with the project.

The result is we have a most Amazing room overlooking our rear garden which is so cosy and it has created a fantastic open plan room which we can use all year round.
